About the role
As a Technical Support Specialist I, you'll support senior team members in delivering Production Development Systems upgrades and implementations for customers. You'll work across a range of PTC technologies—including Windchill, Creo, and other PLM tools—while developing foundational technical skills in system configuration, data migration, and customer support.
This is a growth-focused, early-career role where you’ll gain exposure to real project work from day one, with increasing responsibility as your technical expertise and confidence expand.
What you'll do
Support senior engineers in executing technical tasks across PTC software implementations (Windchill, Creo, Mathcad, Codebeamer, and myPDSapps)
Shadow customer engagements to understand business needs and technical requirements
Assist in writing technical specifications based on functional requirements
Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution
Collaborate with customer technical teams to support successful delivery
Contribute to documentation, including design specs, configurations, and user guides
Support testing and validation of system configurations to ensure quality and accuracy
Assist with deployment, upgrades, and continuous improvement of PTC systems
Participate in data migration from legacy systems into Windchill
Support integrations between PTC tools and other enterprise systems
Contribute to system blueprinting and proof-of-concept development
What you'll bring
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred:
Exposure to PTC products (Windchill, Creo, or similar CAD/PLM tools)
Internship or co-op experience in MCAD or PLM environments
Experience supporting services or project-based work
